Google Forms is a great way to help the students have an online assessment for the teacher to see and lets the students take the quizzes at their own time. There are many ways to match Common Core standards with using these quizzes because it can help assess the understanding of the students and where they are at with the information. Although there were not many examples in the book of the pairing with Common Core, it would be easy to incorporate many of the standards into using these types of quizzes. Students are always being assessed, which is always helpful when studying how Common Core is affecting our students. Many CC standards ask for understanding and applying from the Bloom's Taxonomy levels, and this is a great assessment of whether the students can appropriately use these levels to understand the content. Using assessments in this way with the online capabilities can help make life easier and be more efficient for time with the students. It would be easy to incorporate reading quizzes, math quizzes, or any other sort of quiz or survey to help the teacher and students know what they have accomplished. This would also be a great hook activity for a lesson with the students. Teacher could easily set up a KWL type questions to help assess where the students are with the information.

Teaching myself how to use this program was pretty challenging. I have had experience with setting up a quiz, and so that was easily finished. However, creating the self grading portion of it on the Google Sheets was challenging. I loved the model and way that Forms is set up. It was fun to create and easy to design a page in order to develop what my quiz was about. Google Sheets was the challenging aspect to it, seeing as how there were no instructions in the book. When I set up my classroom, it will certainly take time to figure out Google Sheets, but I think that it is a tool that I will certainly want to use in my classroom.
