I believe that having a website like this is one of the best ways to keep connections between the teacher and parent, as well as the administration and the teacher. Keeping this website up to date with all of the information that is happening throughout the year, as well as keeping homework and news letters and such up to date can help the parents stay involved with their students. I think this is also important for the teacher's credibility. If the parents know that they have this and can always rely to get on it no matter what time and see what their child is learning, it can help them understand. It is also a way to find ways to communicate with the teacher.

While creating my website, I really enjoyed how easy it was to use this program. It was simple to figure out and very helpful when adding pictures and extra resources. I love the idea of having a webpage that is somewhat private as well, and allowing students to use the website to make comments or blog posts for what they are learning. This is also an easy way to help the parents communicate with one another for any parties or situations that are being planned. Using this site can enable more communication with one another, which is something many classroom teachers and parents struggle with. This is certainly an application that I intend on using within the limits of my classroom.
